The organisation operates a residential children’s home and Happy Times Junior School, providing children with care, education, protection, healthcare support, and psychosocial assistance.

What we do
Empowering Skills for the Future
Beyond schooling, Happy Times serves the community through events and hands-on skills training. From tailoring to farming, we help children and adults gain practical skills that open doors to independence and opportunity, empowering the entire community.
Providing Safe Haven and Support
Happy Times is a certified NGO and orphanage, dedicated to caring for children who have faced significant hardships. We provide shelter, medical treatment, and compassionate care to those who have been abandoned, abused, or are living with HIV, helping them heal and thrive.
Quality Education for All
At Happy Times, we offer affordable primary education to the children of Katikamu. Families who can contribute help support our mission, while generous donors fund school fees for vulnerable children. Our team of over 20 teachers and 30 staff members are committed to delivering a solid education for a brighter future.
